What’s the difference between Noritsu, Imacon, and Drum scans?
Noritsu is the fastest and most affordable scanner to be used on a daily basis. Imacon (Flextight X5) provides nearly drum scan quality suitable for portfolios and bigger prints. The drum scans (Crosfield Celsis 6200) reproduce all the tonal ranges and detail that you can imagine.

Do I need to have my film developed before it can be scanned?
Yes, scanning is for already-developed negatives. If your film hasn’t been processed yet, we can develop and scan it together in one order.

How long does film scanning take?
5 business days for Value service, 2 for Standard, from the day we receive your film. Drum scans need a minimum of 3 weeks. Shipping time is separate.

Will I get my negatives back, and how long are digital files available?
Yes, negatives are held for up to 30 days after your order is complete. Digital files stay on our servers for 14 days, so download them promptly.

What file formats do I receive?
JPEG or TIFF, in Low, Medium, or High Res, sized from small prints up to poster-size enlargements.
