Art Print Options

Acrylic Art Prints

Acrylic art prints showcase exceptional image depth, vibrant color, and remarkable clarity. Finished beneath a crystal-clear acrylic face, they create a sleek, contemporary display with a luminous, gallery-grade presence. Acrylic is the premium face-mount finish favored for gallery exhibitions, fine art photography, corporate interiors, and statement wall art where depth and color are everything.

Best for: gallery and collector pieces, high-impact color work, museum-style presentation.

Metal Art Prints

ChromaLuxe HD Metal art prints infuse your image directly into a specially coated aluminum surface, producing outstanding detail, rich saturated color, and a luminescent finish that makes images glow. They are exceptionally durable, resistant to moisture and scratches, and lightweight, making them a popular choice for photography prints, commercial and hospitality displays, and contemporary interiors, including large-format pieces.

Best for: vibrant, high-contrast images, modern spaces, durable and large-format displays. Our metal prints are produced as Chromaluxe HD Metal Prints, with the image infused directly into the panel for exceptional color, depth, and longevity.

Aluminum Composite Prints

Aluminum composite prints a rigid aluminum-and-polyethylene panel provide a lightweight yet sturdy display with excellent dimensional stability and a refined, professional finish. Their flat, no-glare surface makes them well-suited to gallery installations, exhibitions, retail environments, office spaces, and large-format artwork that needs to stay perfectly flat over time.

Best for: large-format work, gallery installs, matte/no-glare presentation, budget-conscious scale.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a fine art print?
A fine art print is a professional print made with high-quality printing processes and premium display materials to deliver excellent detail, faithful color, and gallery-ready presentation. Fine art prints are most often used for photography, artwork reproductions, galleries, and exhibitions.
What’s the difference between metal, acrylic, and aluminum composite prints?
All three deliver excellent image quality with a different look. Acrylic face-mounts give the most depth, gloss, and color richness and are the go-to for gallery statement pieces. Metal prints are vibrant, luminescent, lightweight, and very durable, ideal for high-contrast images and large format. Aluminum composite offers a clean, matte, no-glare finish that stays perfectly flat, well-suited to large installations and exhibitions.
Which finish should I choose?
It depends on your image and where it will hang. Choose acrylic for maximum depth and a premium gallery feel, metal for vibrant color and durability (especially at large sizes), and aluminum composite for a flat, matte, no-glare presentation. Not sure? Email prints@iconla.com and we’ll recommend the best fit.
What is the best file format for fine art printing?
For best results, provide a high-resolution JPG or TIFF built at final print size. If you’re unsure your file is print-ready, our team is glad to review it and advise.
What resolution do you recommend?
Around 300 DPI at the final print size.
Can you help prepare my files for printing?
Yes. If your artwork needs adjustments before printing, our team can review your files and recommend the best preparation. Files needing additional editing or resizing may be handled as custom print orders.
Do you offer large-format fine art printing?
Yes. We produce large-format art prints for gallery shows, interior design, and custom wall pieces, in both standard and custom sizes. For prints larger than 36 x 36 inches, please reach out to the lab and we’ll work with you on it directly. Prints larger than 36 x 36 require an additional shipping and crating charge, due to their size and the shipping method needed.
How much do art prints cost?
Pricing depends on finish and size, and the price you pay includes shipping to your location or to the lab. See our pricing list.
Do you offer pickup and shipping?
Yes. Finished orders can be picked up at our Los Angeles facility or shipped to you; delivery time depends on the order. Your print price includes the cost of shipping, whether to your location or to the lab.
What types of artwork can you print?
Photography, digital artwork, illustrations, graphic design, and other high-resolution files for personal, commercial, and exhibition use.
Do you offer canvas prints?
Canvas is coming soon. In the meantime, we recommend metal, acrylic, or aluminum composite; reach out and we’ll help you choose.

Beautiful Work

I love The Icon and have been using them since my photo school days. I recently had a photo I’d taken on my phone enlarged in both glossy and lustre, and to my surprise both turned out beautifully!
