Daniel Leka Presents ‘Imagery, Idealism’

Imagery, Idealism is my way of creating fine art works in a social media age. Images that are immediately ingrained in the average consumer’s mind but simultaneously consist of layers and an expansive lineage for the inquisitive.

Referencing phenomena from my lifetime has served as a tool for centralizing emotion, which is at the heart of this project. From publications, advertisements, and work from my predecessors, I look to acknowledge history prior while actively contributing to it in real time. And in doing this, I hope that this project serves others the way that the works that inspired it did for me.
