The Icon brings the power of the internet to image management with a collaborative work environment that lets you easily manage and share files from anywhere you can get online, to anyone with an internet connection.
Local servers mean that you can get large quantities of data online very quickly (no internet downloads, just bring the data to the lab). If you need to get 200GB of high resolution files online, we can do it in about four hours. With most services, it would take several days to upload that much data to your account.
Directly geared to working professionals who are interested in complete image control, the IconBox is not a consumer site, nor is it a stock sales site. It is a collaborative environment that fosters communication between you and your clients. Handle entire shoots, not just a few selects. The system is equally capable of handling, organizing, and transferring thousands of files, as well as working with just your selected images. Use it to communicate with your clients in a way that makes sense to you.
The IconBox is the secure, visual, web-based way to collaborate on photography projects and store image files, allowing several people to review, edit, annotate, and share high-resolution files at the same time. It is ideal for a single project or as a long-term storage solution for your important digital images. You can invite guests to view some or all of your lightboxes without letting them have access to all of your images on the site!
Definition: A lightbox is a virtual way to store, organize, and share small sub-collections of images. Take the best images from each shoot and put them into a lightbox. Keep a second lightbox for images that you might want to add to your portfolio, and a third that includes images that you will be using as gift prints for your models.
There are two different kinds of service: short-term and long-term. Our short-term service, called a “Suite,” allows professional photographers to utilize the features of the IconBox for a single shoot. The long-term service option,
called an “Account,” allows you to manage entire inventories of digital images. You decide which type of service works best for you – either is accessed with a secure login and password.
A Suite is a single-use service with access to all of the features listed above. It is designed to allow collaboration on a single project over the course of a few weeks.
A Full Account gives you complete control and is intended for use over longer periods of time. You get all the features of the Suite plus:
A Full Account makes it possible for you to manage multiple shoots for different clients. You will be able to see all your projects, but the users you create will only see the jobs or parts of a job that you allow them access to.
Suites with up to 20GB of storage are billed as follows:
Full accounts are billed as follows:
Full Account Monthly Storage Rates
Note: We can make arrangements to bill storage fees on each invoice instead of as a separate service to help distribute the cost among different jobs

Turnaround – 1 day (Rush service available: for 12 hours +100%, ASAP +200%)
User – someone who may look at your IconBox images. Each user can be given individual permission to interact with your IconBox in carefully controlled ways. You may want an individual to look, but not delete or download. That person can do only what you approve of. “Users” can even be allowed to invite their own “Guests” if you would like.
Lightbox – a small grouping of shots selected from your collection of IconBox images. Take the best shots from each shoot and put them into a lightbox. Images can reside in several different lightboxes at the same time.
Guest – someone who can look at a lightbox. Send an email invitation to a guest with a username and password allowing that person to view one or more of your lightboxes. A guest can never delete your images. Shoot – the IconBox designation for a day's shooting. The Shoot is one level up in hierarchy from a setup.
Setup – the IconBox organizes individual shots inside a setup. The Shoot contains setups that may represent different shooting conditions or activities that occur during the day of shooting. Changing wardrobe or backdrop might constitute a new setup.
