The Fuji Frontier machine is a low cost machine scanning solution for negatives and transparencies. It is optimized for use with negatives but makes acceptable scans from transparencies. These scans cover approximately 96% of the entire image and are automatically (machine) adjusted for color balance and exposure. There is dust/scratch removal built in to the scanner, however you may need to do additional adjustments and clean-up to achieve optimal results. With file sizes up to 40 MB, from standard film formats, Frontier scans are versatile enough for making prints up to 11X14” or as a starting point for retouching. If you need to have file names that correspond to roll/frame numbers that service can be provided for an additional fee.
